The internal space within Slim's office has been divided into two areas. The top floor has been retained for private access for slim; a space to survey the monopoly he complete control over. The lower levels have been created by carving out a triangle shape much like a theoretical model of a business (many workers at the base of the company and very few at the top). The space has therefore been split into working areas for Slim's employees.
The 'penthouse' level has a more private working area below an open entertaining area - providing a versatile space for business lunches/meetings etc.
Slim's lift has also been designed with his power on mind - very fast, individual, powerful and dynamic. A simple colour scheme has been used - green (envy, greed, money) and grey scale which is suggestive to Slim's ethical intentions of the monopoly he has created.
In stark contrast to Slim's office Zhang's is far more tactile. A naturally lit space it flows with the use of gentle steps connecting different levels down to a holding area which hangs off the base of the office to collect refuse materials. The Glass walkway that juts across this area can also be used as a large desk/sorting area etc. Entrepreneur

Lighting has also been used to highlight key design features such as the section cut through the design.
All spaces are effectively linked through sections cut through walls, ceilings and floor to provide interdependancy between the spaces - a key aspect of both quotes.
Subtle Lighting has been used throughout my design to lead the viewer through the spaces, to provide direction. In the image above you can see how effective this is.
Using coloured lighting simple black and white textures have been given a third dimension which also helps to link the two clients spaces throughout. Coloured lighting also gives the opportunity to illuminate single surfaces rather than an entire shape. The darkness adds mystery to the geometric design.
A selection of textures from "Florence Wing", these were inspired from a red cross and have been abstracted multiple times for variety in tone but also retain continuity through the space.
